The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) is a leading public funded university located mainly in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital city.  It was established as an autonomous higher education institution by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 33 of 1994). NUST is a former Technicon, from inception it was known as the “Polytechnic of Namibia” until it was amended into a fully-fledged university in the year 2015, by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 7 of 2015).

Its current enrolment stands at over 21 000 students, spread across four (4)  distinct faculties, mainly focused on STEM Fields and one faculty that offers non-STEM qualifications.

NUST graduates are sought after in the Namibian labour market, the region, and are accepted for further studies in other universities internationally.
