The SHINE project will be officially introduced to partners and key stakeholders during its Project Launch & Outreach Event, hosted by the University of Namibia (UNAM).
This event marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to strengthen internationalisation in Namibian higher education institutions, bringing together universities, policymakers, students, and international partners.

Description
The SHINE Project Launch & Outreach event combines the official public launch with a kick-off meeting for project partners, ensuring both visibility and strong internal coordination from the outset.
The event will:
- Present the objectives, structure, and expected impact of the SHINE project
- Ensure a shared understanding of project management, work package distribution, and quality assurance processes
- Engage stakeholders in discussions on the internationalisation of higher education in Namibia
In addition, the programme includes:
- A good practices workshop on internationalisation
- Working sessions to identify gaps and challenges
- Initial inputs to guide future capacity-building activities (WP3)
By combining outreach and strategic planning, the event lays the groundwork for a coordinated, inclusive, and impactful implementation of SHINE.
